We know that some people still prefer to send orders by mail or otherwise do not have online or phone access. If you order by mail, you can still use a credit card, money order, or a domestic check. You will have to use a check drawn on a US bank, we can’t accept foreign checks. How long will it take for you to process my order?
After we receive your order, expect us to be able to process and ship it within 3-5 business days, as long as your items are all in stock. Should one of your order items be back ordered, the order may be delayed. At our option, we may hold your order until it is complete, or partially ship the available items. Should we do so, you will not be charged anything extra. Weekends or Holidays our staff enjoy with their families and we do not process orders. We think you should too!
I ordered a pre-order item or something is out of stock on my order!
We want you to be able to order anything we offer, and we get items in from manufacturers every day. But sometimes, we are waiting for items to be replenished. Also, we do also offer pre-orders for items which have not yet been manufactured. Items that are backordered or pre-ordered will generally ship upon receipt. Keep in mind, however, that the system will hold your order until it is complete or we choose, at our option, to ship it in parts.
There are times when we will choose to partially ship your order and send the rest of the items later. When we choose to do this, no additional shipping cost will be incurred. Partial shipping will not result in a refund of shipping costs. Please note that if shipping volumes are high and during peak seasons, we may not be able to ship partial orders.
I’ve decided to cancel my order. What do I do?
No problem, we know that there are times you change your mind or for whatever reason would like to cancel your order. As long as the product hasn’t already been provided to the carrier, we’re happy to help. Just Contact us with your order number and we will be happy to assist you. If you prepaid for your order using a pre-paid method, we will provide a refund. Otherwise, you were never charged so the order simply will go away.
Why does it look like you charged me twice when I check my online banking
Credit card companies will do a preliminary “authorization” to your card in order to reserve funds for later billing. What you are likely seeing is actually an authorization, not a charge. After shipment, the order is billed, and this ties to this authorization and it is removed. The speed at wich this happens can be different from bank-to-bank. Only one final billing charge will remain after shipment processing. If you still see both charges after a few days, feel free to contact us for assistance.
What if one of the items I ordered goes out of print?
While we do our best to stay in touch with every manufacturer and remove items which are no longer available, sometimes they don’t even know immediately when an item will no longer be made. Once we receive noticed that an item is out of print, it will be removed from your order, and if you prepaid for the item, you will be refunded. If you used a credit card, you were never charged for the item, because we don’t charge you until the order is prepared for shipment.
Paypal has a limit of one year from the time of purchase for direct refunds. If the order you made exceeds this timeframe, we may need to send you a gift certificate or check for your refund.
Can I order items which aren’t in stock?
Absolutely! If the item isn’t currently in stock, but is still available on the site, it means we are likely waiting for replenishment form the manufacturer. Place your order and as soon as the product hits our warehouse, it will be allocated to you!
Note: backordered products may hold up order fulfillment.
The item I preordered is past the street date. What gives
Your preorder is still in the system, but may just be slow to come in. Manufacturers aren’t perfect, and sometimes they miss their delivery dates. If this happens, we will continue to hold your order until the product is delivered to us. If, in the unlikely event they cancel the item, we’ll let you know. Unfortunately this has happened a great deal recently due to the COVID situation and manufacturing shutdowns.
Do you offer free shipping?
We offer free domestic shipping on most media products if your order exceeds US$75. Some exclusions will apply, and they are noted on the item pages.
I had to get a new credit card, how do I update my order?
Our customer service team can handle this for you! Contact us for help. You’ll want to also update your card details in your account for future orders.
Certain Special Orders
Figurines and items marked “non-returnable” in the item description cannot be returned for refund. If defective, we will attempt to replace, and if we cannot replace, we will provide a refund.
Buyanime.com can take payment by American Express, Mastercard and Visa. We charge your credit card when your order is prepared for shipment.
We use encryption between your web browser and our servers to encrypt all sensitive data, such as credit card numbers. Immediately following the placement of your order, any credit card data that you store with us is no longer available to us, other than the final 4 digits.
We use fraud protection software to verify credit card orders. The billing address you provide must match the credit card billing address. If the system marks a transaction as suspicious, your order may be held for review, or rejected entirely. We reserve the right to decline to ship orders should our fraud scoring indicate potential fraud.
We also accept payments by PayPal! If you place your order by PayPal, it is treated as a pre-paid order, and all funds for the order are transferred immediately. If you need to remove an item or cancel, please Contact Us as we will need to process a manual refund.
As some items are special order and we need to work with the manufacturers to set print runs, we may require some items to be specifically prepaid. This means we may require payment by PayPal to secure and reserve your item. This allows our manufacture to have confidence that the items they aremaking will all be accounted for.
We may require payment by PayPal for areas where we have experienced high fraud rates.
We collect sales tax where we are required to do so. On orders shipping within Nevada. buyanime.com will automatically calculate the sales tax during the checkout process, however if you are submitting a mail order, please include the appropriate amount of tax if you are a Nevada resident. Sales tax laws are constantly evolving and we may need to modify the states where we collect in the future.
