Our Manga Review of The Villainess Stans the Heroes: Playing the Antagonist to Support Her Faves!, Vol. 3

10:46 AM

Hey, fellow manga enthusiasts! Today, I’m diving into the latest installment of “The Villainess Stans the Heros,” and let me tell you, things are getting wild!

So, our heroes are all set for Operation: Destroy the Dirty Casino, but hold on a minute—something feels off. It’s like there’s another puppet master pulling the strings behind the scenes, and trust me, it’s not who you’d expect. But before I can untangle this web of mysteries, there’s a prince in distress who needs saving!

Volume 3 kicks off with our daring villainess infiltrating a masquerade/black market auction, and let me just say, the costumes are chef’s kiss. But amidst all the glam, there’s some serious business going down. Chikusa’s prized blade is up for grabs, but the bidding process is over before you can say “sword fight.” And don’t even get me started on Ellua and her skirt storage—classic!

(spoiler alert) But then, just when you think you’ve got the plot figured out, bam! Albert’s connection story crashes the party, and he’s got a surprise guest: Vlad Chagrin, Originator of Vampires. Talk about a plot twist! Now, Ellua’s scrambling to rewrite fate and save her prince charming from Vlad’s clutches. Sure, Vlad may not be the most riveting villain, and his vampire posse is more shambling than threatening, but hey, it’s all about the journey, right?

Extras-wise, we’ve got some neat bonuses, including color pages, artwork, bonus comics, and an author afterward—talk about bang for your buck!

In summary, The Emotion Fantasy Volume 3 takes us on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, from swoon-worthy masquerades to heart-pounding showdowns. While it may stumble in pacing and villain depth, it more than makes up for it with its charm and character dynamics. So, if you’re up for a wild ride, grab your copy and buckle up!
