After a fierce battle, Utsuho and his friends manage to foil the plot of a group of assassins to take the life of a southern monarch. Will this earn them the Kokonotsu treasure they’ve been after? That question aside, they add some new members to their group and set out on another journey, finding that the village they visit on the way is a little strange?
