Reiji Tokisaka is a hard-boiled private detective who is investigating a series of
grotesque murders at the request of the Tokyo police. The murders involve amputated
human limbs mysteriously showing up around a girls? school campus. Later, Reiji meets
Touko Kuchiki, a student from Ouba Girls Academy, hires him to find her ?real self.
Reiji is unsure of what she means but soon finds out that Touko may have some insight
into the current string of serial killings and how they relate to a strange painting at a
local museum. While working to solve the growing number of murders, Reiji takes some
time to get to know Touko and her friends while working behind-the-scenes to unravel
the mysteries of her dark past.

This is an interesting Anime. This one is really telling a story with true plot and development. It’s a PI Film Noir type show and the S scenes are not forced in per se not like in most. With the exception of one scene it always felt like it evolved naturally, well as naturally as a regular movie. I enjoyed this disc and was pleasantly surprised by the show in general. I don’t typically buy these for the story but I am not against it either and can enjoy a good story at the same time. The S scenes are not extreme as well so you could consider this disc kind of Vanilla.
